Spin Forming for Canada and the US

In the metal fabrication industry, metal spinning, also known as spin forming in Canada and the US, is a forming process used to make round hollow parts, typically with a circular cross-section. A flat metal disc, called a blank, rotates on a lathe and is pressed against a tool (die) which forms the metal disc into the desired shape.
